Questions we get asked
How much does an Ooty tour package from Bangalore cost?
Our Ooty packages start at ₹14,999 and go up depending on how many nights you stay, the size of your group and the hotel category. Every quote includes the vehicle, driver, driver bata, tolls, parking and taxes — message us with your dates and group size and we will send an exact figure.
How far is Ooty from Bangalore and how long does the drive take?
Ooty is roughly 270 km from Bangalore. The drive takes about 6 to 7 hours including a breakfast stop, usually via Mysore and Bandipur. We normally start early so you reach the hills with the day still ahead of you.
What is the best time to visit Ooty?
October to June is comfortable, with the coolest weather from December to February. April and May are the busiest as the summer season peaks. The monsoon between July and September is green and quiet, and the tea gardens look their best, though some viewpoints get clouded over.
Do you handle the hotel booking as well?
Yes. The packages listed here include the stay for the nights shown. Tell us the category you want and we will confirm the hotel with you in writing before you pay anything.
Can the itinerary be changed for my group?
Every one of these is a starting point. We routinely add Coonoor, Pykara or a Nilgiri Mountain Railway ride, extend a night, or slow the pace down for older travellers and small children. Send us what you have in mind on WhatsApp.
How many people can travel together?
Anything from a couple in a sedan to a group of 50 in a coach. We run sedans, Ertigas, Innovas, 12-seater tempo travellers, 21 to 33 seater mini buses and a 50 seater bus, so the whole group moves with one operator.
