Straight answers
How hard is the Chembra Peak trek?
The climb to the heart-shaped lake takes roughly two hours up and is steep in places, on open grassland with no shade. Permits are limited and issued on the day by the forest department, and the trail closes in heavy rain or fire season. Carry water and shoes with grip.
Do we cross into Kerala?
Yes — Wayanad is in Kerala, so the trip crosses a state border and an interstate permit applies to the vehicle. It is quoted separately rather than hidden in the headline price.
Is this price per person or for the whole trip?
The price shown is a starting price and it covers two travellers — the vehicle, the driver and the rooms listed. If there are more than two of you it costs more, because that means more room nights and sometimes a larger vehicle. Tell us how many are travelling and we will confirm the room split and the exact figure in writing before you pay anything.
What is not included in the price?
Entry tickets, boating and safari charges, lunch and dinner, and tolls, parking and permits on the route. We quote those on top instead of burying them in the headline number, so the figure you agree is the figure you pay.
Can I change the itinerary?
Yes. The Wayanad plan below is what most people book, not a fixed rail. Drop a stop, add a night, start a day later — send us what you want on WhatsApp and we will rewrite it and re-quote.
Do you pick up from my house?
Yes. Pickup and drop are at your address in Bengaluru, at the time you choose. There is no meeting point and no shared vehicle — the cab is yours for the whole trip.
How do I confirm the booking?
